What you will do
This role will work within site Supply Chain with responsibility to deliver system (SAP) and Business Process Improvements Initiatives. These initiatives could be driven by Network strategy, Site Supply Chain strategy and Corrective & Preventive Actions.
Main Responsibilities:
Advance ASM as a safe work environment
People development where direct reports maximize their performance and potential over time
Lead by example by exhibiting Amgen values and Leadership attributes
Support the timely closure of Deviations, Change Controls and CAPA records
Support the revision of Standard Operating Procedures and applicable training documents to ensure department compliance
Support business continuity risk management
First line support for SAP
Rollout system enhancements/initiatives as initiated by network or by site as part of continuous process improvement
Drives Operations Excellence Culture in the organization via the deployment of various OE tools resulting in productivity gains
Realize operational efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities that contributes towards site and operational goals
Own and drive Supply Chain related continuous improvement projects
Develop and/or deliver reports, presentations and/or recommendations to executive audiences
Monitor training needs of direct report; define training plans and follow-up of training needs in close collaboration with the training coordinator
Assist in the development of yearly budgets based on current and future business drivers
Work to design optimal workflow designs which are aligned with operational excellence concepts
Assumes the role of Functional Area Owner for the System & Business Process Improvement domain in the deviation, change control and CAPA process

What we expect of you
Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of directly related experience OR
Diploma and 8 years of directly related experience
Preferred 5+ years people management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills
Demonstrated track record of people development where direct reports learn and develop their capabilities to enhance their performance and achieve personal or professional goals
Demonstrated experience in forming-leading-facilitating-inspiring teams
Ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders in a cross functional; cross cultural environment
Ability to organize and analyze data and information accurately to identify relationships and detect patterns and trends to gain insights for decision making
Ability to generate feasible and efficient solutions to solve problems and capitalize on new opportunities
Ability to adopt a fresh perspective to combine ideas or information in new ways and make connections between seemingly unrelated fields to create new ideas and
Ability to formulate objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with the long-term interests of the organization in a global environment. Capitalizes on opportunities and manages risks
Demonstrated experience in a continuous improvement role utilizing tools, methodologies and change management (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Human Performance)
Develop and use computational models, tools and techniques to interpret and understand data, solve problems and guide decision-making
Systems knowledge (SAP)
End-to-End supply chain knowledge in the area of production planning; procurement and warehouse & transportation
APICS CPIM/CSCP certification
